One should think that the relationship of the Eelam Tamils and India should resemble a close brotherhood, since Tamil Nadu is a state of India. However, the issue is more complex and over history, India showed two faces in terms of the liberation struggle of Tamil Eelam with India’s true intentions masked from the public eye. This hypocrisy of India significantly contributed to the torturing pain of the Eelam Tamils and lead to the downfall of Tamil Eelam.
This Report will show the political and historical circumstances which lead to those destructive Events performed by the Indian government. Furthermore, it will dissect what we already have done as Phoenix and as a society to respond to these injustices, and how we can shape our struggle in the future. A manifesto outlining Phoenix’s analysis and stance for the forthcoming struggle will be coming soon.
