அக்கினிப் பறவைகள் – இதழ் 10

As settlements and colonisation of Tamil lands and waters increase as a component of structural Tamil genocide, decolonisation emerges as a necessary step to liberate Tamil Eelam. As postulated by Fanon, “freedom from colonisation consists of freedom of acting with the earth to fashion land”. Therefore, the dimensions of resistance required to prevent the compromise of Tamil sovereignty become clear. It is crucial for Eelam Tamils to negate the geopolitical and genocidal exploitation of Tamil lands and water to liberate the occupied Tamil homeland from the grasps of global hegemons and the genocidal Sri Lankan state. Failing to challenge and expose the geopolitical dimension of the Tamil struggle may further diminish the pawn-like role which Tamils have assumed in the absence of the Tamil leadership.
